Advent has been a traditional part of preparing for Christmas for centuries. It has long been a part of traditional liturgy and mainline churches, but there is deep meaning that every branch of Christian belief can take from these messages of hope, joy, love and peace.

The observation and celebration of Advent has been a part of Christian practice for centuries. Hope is the first theme of the Advent season. During this season, we are reminded of the Messianic prophecies and the hope that they bring as we anticipate the Second Coming of Christ.

The Advent of Peace

This is the second installment of our four-part Advent series. Advent is the season of the year leading up to Christmas. which is the first advent of Christ. It is the four-week period preceding Christmas Day with each week focusing on a specific quality or attribute of our Christian faith.
